Goal on Sight is a joint initiative by the Calgary Flames Alumni, Rotary Club of Calgary East and Opal Optical. Our goal is to ensure all children have a gift of sight - despite their less than perfect financial situation.

It's a sad fact that many children in our city aren't able to afford proper eye exams and eyewear. Without correct vision, these children often fail in school. If they aren't able to see, they aren't able to improve.

Many studies have shown that over 80% of what children learn is by visual means. It's also estimated that over 70% of all learning disabilities can be related to improper sight.

If only one student in each city classroom is unable to afford the glasses they need, over 15,000 children will suffer. In an effort to break this vicious circle, Goal on Sight wants to offer complimentary prescription eyewear to those who qualify. Families who meet our guidelines are invited to be fitted with new eyewear. Goal on Sight is committed to products and services you can trust.
